I haven’t had a chance to update my blog in a while. This is mostly due to lower back/hip pains I have been suffering – likely arthritic since it started when the weather suddenly started feeling like “winter.”
It’s simple math: Lower back/hip pains = restless sleep = fatigue during the day = me so grumpy.
I decided to sell much of the RC collection I just recently acquired. I realized that I started to stray from my original purpose (which was only to collect carbon fiber racer chassis.) Also, I’m getting kind of tired dealing with eBay scammers. You regular eBayers know what I’m talking about. So I put most of the kits up for sale. LOL. I know – wth? I will continue to collect, but be a bit more picky with what I will what I buy. And I probably won’t buy from eBay any longer. You can click here to see what I have been selling. A few auctions finish tonight…so I will be busy getting all these kits packed up throughout the week. As I am writing this, my F104 Ferrari that I worked so hard to build, sold for $356!!! Wow, that’s kind of crazy LOL.
I recently acquired a TRF415 racing chassis kit. This was my dream RC kit just before I jumped into nitro powered cars. With a $600+ pricetag, I never thought I would ever buy one…until I happen to run into an eBay auction for one! While I have been nursing my back, I have been spending time putting this car together. Why am I building it? Well, the kit was not 100% mint and complete after receiving it (and it was supposed to be) so I was able to negotiate the final auction price of $230 down to $130! Even at $230 this kit was a bargain! But this is another reason why I no longer want to use eBay. It’s such a pain in the ass dealing with these transactions that go sour.
